Sales Coordinator (Marine)

- Sales Inquiry & Quotation Management: Handle and assess incoming customer enquiries and technical queries related to offshore products such as rigging equipment and consumables. Prepare accurate and prompt technical and commercial quotations.
- Order Processing: Oversee the full sales order cycle, from receipt of Purchase Orders (POs) through invoicing and final delivery.
- Technical Support & Coordination: Work closely with internal departments including engineering, production, warehouse, service, and procurement teams to ensure all technical specifications, drawings, and certifications are fulfilled.
- Logistics & Documentation: Coordinate with freight forwarders and manage import/export shipping documentation.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while supporting the sales team in daily operations.
- Database Maintenance: Maintain and update accurate customer records and sales activities using in-house ERP systems and electronic filing systems.
- Accounts Support: Assist the Accounts Department in following up on outstanding payments when required.
- Ad Hoc Duties: Carry out additional assignments and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirements
- At least Diploma in Business Admin or equivalent
- 1 Year of working experience in inside sales, sales support, or customer service.
- Experience in Marine Industry
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with offshore equipment (e.g.,Rigging & Consumables) is a significant advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and CRM tools.
- Good knowledge of logistics, shipping, and INCO terms.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Attributes: Meticulous, detail-oriented, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- A team player with committed attitude, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
