Position Summary

  • Monitor design development progress and drawing submission schedules to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Keep abreast of advancements in façade engineering, building envelope technologies, local regulations, and industry best practices to enhance design quality and innovation.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, Building Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in façade design, curtain wall engineering, glazing systems, or building envelope projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of curtain wall systems, aluminium façade systems, glazing assemblies, cladding systems, and related building envelope components.
  • Good understanding of Singapore building regulations, façade design standards, statutory requirements, and construction practices.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate technical differences between Singapore and Chinese façade engineering standards, codes, and design methodologies.
  • Proven experience in façade concept design, engineering design, structural assessment, detailed design development, and shop drawing production.
  • Competent in reviewing structural calculations, engineering drawings, technical specifications, and design documentation.
  • Solid understanding of façade materials, manufacturing processes, installation techniques, quality requirements, and construction methodologies.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with Revit, BIM modelling, SolidWorks, Rhino, Grasshopper, or other façade design and parametric modelling software will be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary project environments.
  • Good command of written and spoken English for technical documentation and stakeholder communication.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the design and delivery of landmark developments, high-rise buildings, transportation infrastructure, commercial complexes, or architecturally complex façade projects.
  • Hands-on experience with freeform, geometrically complex, irregular-shaped, unitised, or double-curved façade systems.
  • Familiarity with façade performance requirements and testing standards, including structural performance, thermal efficiency, air infiltration, water penetration, acoustic performance, and façade testing protocols.
  • Knowledge of façade sustainability requirements, energy-efficient building envelope design, and green building standards will be advantageous.
