Job:

  • Responsible for maintenance and repair of Semicon Equipment.
  • Perform set-up and conversion to support production
  • Develops creative and innovative solutions to problems with considerable initiative and independent thought.
  • Acts independently to determine methods and procedures and may provide guidance to less experienced team members
  • Communicates with engineers, peer specialist or external vendors to resolve problems and to provide advanced training to less experienced technical specialists
  • To identify problems as well as areas for yield and quality improvements and develop methods to improve productivity and reduce manufacturing costs

Requirement:

  • Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering or its equivalent
  • 2 years experience in mass production semiconductor manufacturing environment with Semicon  Laser groove/ PVD/Backgrind Equipment .
  • Certificate of Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical/ Mechatronics Engineering or its equivalent with minimum of 3 years experience in semicon equipment support
  • Knowledge of practical applications of concepts, procedures and guidelines to solve complex problems
  • Able to work 12 hour rotating shifts

Senior Paralegal

Industry: Logistics

·       Provide and manage legal support for company in assigned markets in the Asia Pacific region.

·       Manage onboarding of new customers and vendors including conducting KYC and sanction searches and reviewing results.

·       Manage corporate secretarial matters (e.g. drafting of board resolutions, manage regulatory filings) to ensure corporate secretarial compliance across the Asia Pacific region.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

The individual will support the Legal & Corporate Compliance Head, in administrative and legal matters, in particular with regard to the following:

1.       Manage corporate secretarial matters

·       Draft board resolutions.

·       Keep track of, and comply with, regulatory filing requirements.

·       Keep up-to-date internal records

2.       Manage onboarding of new customers and vendors

·       First cut review of onboarding documentation submitted by counterparties.

·       Manage onboarding of new customers and vendors.

·       Review results and escalating or requesting for additional information where necessary.

3.       Filing and organising legal documents

Requirements

•         A university legal degree from a local or an internationally recognized University or a Diploma in Law from local or an internationally recognized institution.

•         Between 5 to 10 years’ PQE, with experience either as in-house paralegal or as an assistant in a commercial law department at an established law firm.

•         An independent worker, confident and capable of managing internal stakeholders

•         Able to handle company information with confidentiality and discretion.

•         Proven ability to work on cross-functional and multicultural teams.

•         Experience in the logistics sector is preferred.

·       Manage the entire assessment administrative process for main and re-examination / deferred examination / supplementary examination / quizzes / class tests / mid-term tests / deferred or re quizzes and re class tests.

Examination Operations Management

·       Manage confidential student and examination data in our student and learning management systems.

·       Pre-assessment (Quizzes, Class Tests and Exams)

·       Carry out administrative tasks to prepare for assessment (Quizzes, Class Tests and Exams) in face-to-face examination setting which includes:

·       Liaise with Lecturers and Module Leaders for pre moderation of examination question paper

·       Resource planning including booking of exam venue and invigilator deployment

·       Updating examination schedule accurately

·       Updating graduating status of students at Examination and Awards Board and in the Student Management System

Prepare and Manage University Examination Board

Liaise with University Partners for pre and post moderation work

Carry out administrative tasks to prepare for the Board meeting

Administrative work, including

-          Process exam-related procurement/finance matters promptly according to timelines

-          New programme exam operations

-          Attend programme briefings, obtain required information and plan for the 1st assessment / exams

-          Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to work out assessment processes and processing timelines 

-          Draft assessment / exam work process for the new programme

 

Internal and External Stakeholder management

·       Work with School (Operations and Academics) on related examination operations

·       Liaise and coordinate with outsourced business partner on the monitoring and tracking of work processes

·       Manage the assignment and deployment of invigilators for online and onsite campus exams

 

Others

·       Any other duties as required by the Reporting Officer from time to time.

 

Job Requirements

·       Degree in any field

·       1 to 5 years of experience would be an added advantage

·       Work experience in managing examinations, or similar environment and role.

·       Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

·       Strong communication and interpersonal skills with various stakeholders

·       Detail-oriented, and able to maintain accurate records

·       Ability to priortise workload and meet timeline

·       Ability to work under pressure during examination periods.

·       Willing to work 1 to 2 hours beyond the official working hours as and when examinations are mounted in the weekday evening and Saturday. Time off will be given accordingly.

Job Purpose

The Assistant Manager, HR is responsible for supporting the full spectrum of Human Resource functions in a manufacturing environment, including recruitment, employee relations, payroll support, compliance, and foreign worker administration. The role ensures smooth HR operations while aligning with company policies and Malaysian labour regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Operations & Administration

  • Oversee day-to-day HR operations for factory and office staff
  • Maintain employee records, personal files, and HR databases
  • Ensure HR policies and SOPs are properly implemented on-site
  • Support HR reporting and management updates

2. Recruitment & Manpower Planning

  • Handle end-to-end recruitment for production, warehouse, and support roles
  • Work closely with production supervisors to understand manpower needs
  • Manage onboarding and induction for new hires
  • Coordinate with agencies for foreign worker recruitment when required

3. Foreign Worker Management (Small Headcount)

  • Manage documentation for foreign workers (work permits, renewals, FOMEMA, insurance, etc.)
  • Liaise with relevant authorities (e.g., Immigration, FOMEMA, MOHR-related processes)
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment and immigration regulations
  • Assist in accommodation and welfare coordination if applicable

4. Employee Relations

  • Handle employee grievances and disciplinary issues in line with labour law
  • Support investigations and disciplinary actions when required
  • Maintain a positive working environment on the factory floor

5. Payroll & Benefits Support

  • Support monthly payroll preparation (attendance, overtime, claims)
  • Verify attendance and shift records from production teams
  • Coordinate with finance/payroll vendors if outsourced

6. Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian Labour Law and HR-related regulations
  • Assist in audits (internal/external) related to HR and foreign workers
  • Maintain statutory documentation and submissions where required 

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3–6 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing / factory environment
  • Experience handling foreign workers (preferred but not mandatory if small headcount)

Technical Knowledge

  • Familiar with Malaysian Labour Law & Employment Act
  • Understanding of foreign worker processes (permit renewal, FOMEMA, etc.)
  • Payroll and attendance systems knowledge is an advantage

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Hands-on and comfortable working in a factory environment
