Engineering & Facilities Operations & Maintenance (Hard & Soft Services)

  • Oversee day-to-day facilities operations across office spaces, common areas, and building infrastructure
  • Plan and manage preventive and corrective maintenance programmes for Building and Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems, including but not limited to, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing & Sanitary, Fire Protection systems, and Lifts & Escalators

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the finance and accounting functions of the Sales Co operations in regional as well as for the financial and statutory requirements of the Singapore legal entity.
  • Responsible for the supervision and efficient operations of the accounting team and internal controls and ensuring the proper keeping of accounting records in accordance with Corporate policies, local regulatory requirements, US GAAP and local FRS.
  • Other functions include annual budgeting, regular forecasting, cash management, corporate governance, compliance with corporate policies and SOX controls, participating in business strategy planning, reviewing of work process to improve operations efficiency and internal controls.

Requirements

  • Bachelor in Accountancy, Chartered Accountant or ACCA with minimum 10 years of working experience, with at least 5 years working in or for a Singapore incorporated entity.
  • Working experience in US or international MNC with either industrial or manufacturing activities
  • Experience and good working knowledge of ERP system (knowledge of JDE will be an added advantage)
  • Familiar with the full spectrum of accounting functions
  • Familiar with the local accounting standards and some knowledge of US GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley
  • Familiar with Income Tax and GST
