Responsibilities
Support the development, implementation and constant improvement of the Volunteer Management (VM) structure and process and centre compliance.
Responsible for implementing overall VM strategy and plan which include:
Giving input on volunteering programmes and community outreach projects in discussion/collaboration with centres and other stakeholders
Supporting the development of relevant training content as well as trainers to equip volunteers to perform their job roles
Establishing and leveraging on volunteer relationships to develop deeper and more sustainable partnerships for company
Managing the volunteer database and generate insights and recommendations from volunteering data
Conducting regular volunteer needs assessments
Managing communications and mobilisation of volunteers according to needs on the ground
Assisting on the development of appreciation incentives and events for volunteers
Enlarging base of corporate volunteering partnerships
Identify publicity needs for volunteer campaigns and support development of publicity materials required to highlight company volunteering needs and opportunities.
Manage volunteer relationships which includes managing new volunteer signups, developing and tracking engagement plans.
Work with volunteer leads towards the sharing and adoption of agreed programmes, standards and guidelines.
Ensure that all centres comply with volunteer management SOPs and implement risk management procedures
As a team player, help achieve set fundraising targets through planning and implementation of assigned donors and campaigns
The role requires close collaborations with company’ network of centres and entails working and meeting cross-centre teams on a regular basis.
Job Requirements
Degree Holder in relevant qualifications.
Minimum of 1-3 years’ work experience in project/event management, training and programme development (3 to 5 years of working experience - Senior)
Experience in volunteer management in the social service industry is advantageous
Comfortable with making presentations and public speaking
