Manage 1 Senior Executive

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Manage tax compliance for local and overseas entities which includes coordinating with external tax agents to prepare, review and file direct and indirect tax.
  • Assist in preparing, reviewing and coordinating with external tax agent for the group’s transfer pricing documentation and CbCR in accordance to OECD guidelines and local tax compliance requirements.
  • Prepare, review and file indirect tax for local and overseas entities.
  • Prepare and review periodic current and deferred tax provision for local and overseas entities.
  • Liaise with tax authorities for concerning assessments, objections, audit or investigation.
  • Provide support to financial statutory audit and preparation of audited financial statement.
  • Review contracts/agreements and provide tax advice or potential tax implications on ad-hoc enquiries.
  • Assist in tax related projects as assigned.
  • In-charge of tax compliance.
  • Ad-hoc duties assigned as deemed appropriate.

 

Requirements

  • This position requires a Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting or any relevant qualifications or certifications such as Accredited Tax Practitioner (Income tax).
  • This position requires familiarity with transfer pricing.
  • This position also requires knowledge in Oracle, HFM and OA systems for day-to-day tasks.
  • Candidate should possess thorough knowledge of US GAAP, MS Excel, Word as well as presentation skills.
  • Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin (to communicate with Mandarin speaking colleagues)
  • Excellent communications and inter-personal skills, and passion to deliver quality work.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in relevant fields, of which at least 3 years of Transfer pricing experience preferably with an international MNC.
  • Must be familiar with transfer pricing and compliance. Regional tax experience is preferred 
  • This position will have exposure to US and Group tax
