Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for structural scheme design, structural analysis, and technical coordination for projects in the Singapore region.
• Lead the coordination between the structural discipline and architectural, façade, M&E (Mechanical & Electrical), and other disciplines, ensuring that the structural system is reasonable, safe, and practical for implementation.
• Participate in the tender stage, including preparation and optimization of structural technical proposals, and provide technical support and recommendations for cost control.
• Manage and coordinate the structural design schedule, ensuring design deliverables are completed according to project milestones and meet tender and project execution requirements.
• Conduct structural technical communication and presentations with clients, consultants, and the main contractor/general contractor, and respond to relevant technical queries.
• Review structural design deliverables and calculation reports, and ensure design quality while controlling technical risks.
• Coordinate with internal engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure effective integration between structural design and on-site implementation.
• Provide technical oversight and risk assessment for major projects or complex structural issues.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant structural design experience. Candidates with overseas project experience or complex-project experience will be preferred.
• Strong knowledge of structural design codes/standards and calculation methods, with experience handling structural design throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage structural design activities across different stages and coordinate effectively with other departments/disciplines.
• Fluent in Chinese and English. English must be sufficient for technical presentations, reporting, and professional technical discussions/Q&A.
• Strong logical and analytical skills, as well as good technical communication and presentation ability. Must be capable of independently explaining structural design proposals and communicating with external stakeholders.
• Strong awareness of risk management and quality control, with the ability to take responsibility for structural safety and technical oversight on key projects.
