Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for conceptual design, detailed design development, and technical coordination for façade projects in the Singapore region.
• Organize and coordinate the overall façade design workflow, including coordination with architectural, structural, M&E, and other disciplines, ensuring that the design deliverables are complete and practical for implementation.
• Manage the design schedule and progress, ensuring that design deliverables are completed according to project milestones and meet tender and project execution requirements.
• Responsible for technical communication and presentations during the design stage, liaising with clients, consultants, and main contractors/general contractors, and responding to professional and technical queries.
• Review design deliverables and technical documentation, ensuring design quality and managing technical risks.
• Provide technical support for major projects and participate in the preparation of technical proposals during the early tender stage.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant façade design experience. 
• Candidates with experience working in a design institute/architectural design firm or consultancy, as well as overseas or complex-project experience, will be preferred. Proficiency in Rhino is required.
• Strong understanding of façade system design principles and construction methods, with the ability to manage and coordinate the full façade design workflow and cross-disciplinary design coordination. 
• Familiar with local façade design codes, standards, and requirements.
• Fluent in Chinese and English. English must be sufficient for technical presentations and professional Q&A. Must also be able to support the sales/business development team in explaining technical proposals and communicating with external parties.
• Strong sense of responsibility and risk awareness, with the ability to take responsibility for technical oversight and control on key projects.
