Senior Engineer, EHS

Scope
- Take the leadership of maintaining ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 50001 (Energy Management)
- Develop and implement a hazardous material control process
- Manage the EHS permit applications and renewal process
- Recommend and manage annual EHS goals, including cost-savings efforts to the Plant Management, as well as monitor and communicate plant performance
- Act as EHS team leader and assist in coordinating all EHS-related programs and resources (occupational health, safety, environmental, IH, Ergonomics)
- To adhere to the Health & Safety regulations as set out by the EHS Department and any other Government regulations.
Requirements
- Degree in Environment, Health & Safety/Environmental Engineering or other related Engineering discipline
- More than 5 years’ EHS work experience in a manufacturing environment that demonstrates problem-solving skills and continuous improvement accomplishments
- Certified Fire Safety Manager with SCDF.
- Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer with MOM.
- Good understanding of local EHS regulations
- Able to establish and use measurement systems to determine performance for compliance with EHS regulations
- Able to negotiate, communicate and resolve EHS issues with both internal and external constituencies
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Understanding of project management, knowledge and skills
