Responsibilities

• Monitor overdue accounts and follow up on repayments to minimise credit deterioration.
• Handle collection and recovery activities for delinquent and non-performing accounts.
• Coordinate with lawyers, repossession agents and other external parties on recovery actions.
• Manage collateral recovery, repossession and subsequent sale processes where required.
• Provide settlement quotations and respond to customer enquiries.
• Prepare monthly updates on delinquent accounts, recoveries and portfolio performance.
• Support regulatory, internal reporting and write-off documentation requirements.
• Assist with reconciliations and other credit control matters.

Requirements:

• Possess a Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, Banking or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of credit control, collections or recovery experience within a bank or financial institution.
• Good communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle customers well.
• Detail-oriented and analytical, with good working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office.
