Job Description:

Summary

 

•           Oversees and accountable for WLD Operations

Job :

 

•           Manages the activities of WLD Operations, including Manufacturing, Process and Equipment

•           Take full accountability for operational cost, margin control, and efficiency improvement initiatives

•           Full responsibility of WLD KPI including Quality, Cost management and Manufacturing Execution.

•           Oversee process and equipment optimization to improve yield, throughput, and equipment reliability.

•           Develop and implement operational strategies and improvement programs to enhance manufacturing capability and competitiveness.

•           Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to support business growth and ensure operational alignment with customer requirements.

•           Review, approve, and manage departmental budgets, manpower plans, and capital expenditures.

•           Champion continuous improvement and innovation within the WLD operations to achieve sustainable results.

•           Develop organizational capabilities by coaching and mentoring managers and engineers, ensuring effective succession planning and talent pipeline.

•           Collaborate with cross function teams eg Quality, Planning to ensure smooth production flow and timely issue resolution.

 

 

Requirement:

 

•           Preferably 20 years of related experience in Semiconductor or related industry in wafer-level packaging.

•           Degree in Engineering or its equivalent.

•           Proven track record of leading large-scale manufacturing operations with strong cost and performance accountability

•           Customer Orientation: Strong communication and collaboration skills to build long-term customer partnerships.

•           Strategic Leadership: Ability to translate business objectives into actionable operational strategies.

•           Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of wafer-level manufacturing, process integration, and equipment engineering.

•           Operational Excellence: Skilled in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.

•           People Leadership: Capable of leading, developing, and motivating high-performing teams.

 

Deliverables:

•           Meet all customer delivery commitments and effectively manage any manufacturing excursions.

•           Optimize human resource utilization to achieve organizational goals.

•           Attain top-tier customer satisfaction ratings (ranking 1 or 2 among subcontractors).

•           Minimize customer quality incidents through proactive quality management.

•           Enhance process capability to consistently meet product and performance requirements.

•           Collaborate across BUs and functional teams to share and implement Best Known Methods (BKM).
