What You’ll Do
You will lead and develop the Medical Sales team to achieve sales growth and build a strong, sustainable customer base.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead, motivate and coach a team of Medical Sales Representatives to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Drive new account acquisition, ensuring the team actively prospects and develops new doctors, clinics, and healthcare customers.
- Grow existing accounts through strong customer relationships, effective account planning, and increased product adoption.
- Conduct regular field coaching and joint customer visits to strengthen the team's selling, negotiation, and account-management capabilities.
- Monitor sales performance, territory coverage and individual KPIs, and take timely action to address performance gaps.
- Guide the team in planning and executing customer activities that support product awareness, engagement, and sales growth.
- Build strong relationships with key doctors, healthcare professionals, clinic owners, and decision-makers.
- Ensure disciplined follow-up and development of newly opened accounts to drive repeat orders and long-term customer value.
- Oversee accounts receivable and payment collection, working closely with the team and Finance to maintain healthy customer accounts.
- Lead and support the team's participation in medical workshops, conferences, product launches, and company-organised events.
- Gather market and competitor insights and translate them into practical sales opportunities and actions.
- Work closely with Marketing, Finance, and other internal stakeholders to deliver business objectives.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who combines strong sales instincts with genuine people leadership.
You should ideally have:
- 5–8 years of sales experience within pharmaceutical, medical skincare, dermatology, healthcare, nutraceuticals, or a related industry.
- Previous experience leading, supervising or coaching a sales team.
- A proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new customer accounts.
- Experience selling to doctors, clinics, or healthcare professionals.
- Strong business-development skills and the ability to identify and convert new opportunities.
- Good coaching skills and the ability to improve the performance of individual sales representatives.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Good commercial awareness, including an understanding of sales performance, customer development, and payment collection.
- A hands-on leadership style and willingness to spend time in the field with the team.
- The drive, resilience and accountability needed to succeed in a target-oriented environment.
