Program Engineer
Job Description:
West, 5days workweek
Basic + Allowances + AWS + VB
Responsibilities
Assist the BD Director in managing program-related issues and correspondences
Coordinate with tool and assembly equipment suppliers to ensure smooth program launches
Design workflows and optimize production layouts with the production department to improve machine efficiency
Source and gather tooling and component quotations from suppliers for initial project startups
Work on new quotations and packaging requirements for new parts
Support production and quality departments in troubleshooting processing and quality issues related to plastic parts
Monitor and track progress on program activities and provide timely customer support
Update tooling activities, bills of materials, and project review records; follow up on engineering changes
Coordinate all mold trial activities and design jigs/fixtures with suppliers for secondary processes
Prepare periodic tool-life reports for customers and perform any other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Diploma/ Degree in Engineering or equivalent
3 years relevant experience
Good knowledge of project management & production process
Independent, good initiative and able to multitask in fast paced environment
