Payments Operations Manager

Location: Hybrid, Riga

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Payments Operations Manager to lead the operational side of a global payment ecosystem.

This is not a traditional payment processing role. We are looking for someone who enjoys solving operational challenges, improving processes, collaborating across multiple teams and ensuring clients receive a seamless payment experience.

What you will do

As a Payments Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Client payment processes while driving continuous improvements across systems, workflows and cross-functional collaboration.

Your responsibilities will include:

-Managing and resolving complex Client payment cases while identifyinglong-term solutions to recurring operational issues

-Monitoring payment providers and ensuring the most relevant payment methods are available for Clients across different regions

-Reviewing payment solutions, payment routing and Client payment journeys to maximize efficiency and improve the user experience

-Maintaining accurate payment information and payment options within the Trader Room and Company website

-Collaborating closely with Customer Care, Sales, Financial Operations,

-Compliance, Product and other internal stakeholders

-Collecting operational feedback from regional teams and translating it into measurable improvements

-Designing, optimizing and documenting payment operations processes, procedures, dashboards and reports

-Leading payment-related incident management, including investigations, root cause analysis, reporting and the implementation of preventive actions

-Building strong relationships with payment providers and driving continuous service improvements

-Coordinating payment fraud investigations with internal stakeholders.

-Monitoring competitors' payment offerings and identifying opportunities to strengthen our competitive position

-Acting as the operational owner of Client Payment processes and ensuring documentation, procedures and operational standards remain accurate and up to date

We are looking for someone who has

-Proven experience in Payment Operations, FinTech, Payment Services or another financial services industry

-Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

-Hands-on experience working with payment providers, payment systems or alternative payment methods

-Experience managing cross-functional initiatives involving multiple departments and stakeholders

-A track record of improving operational processes and driving efficiency

-A strong ownership mindset with excellent organizational and prioritization skills

-Experience investigating incidents, identifying root causes and implementing preventive actions

-Excellent communication skills in English and Russian

Nice to have

-Experience in CFD trading, iGaming, FinTech or payment services environments

-Hands-on experience working for a payment service provider (PSP), FinTech company, trading platform or online gaming business

-Knowledge of payment fraud prevention and risk management

-Experience building dashboards, operational reports and performance analytics

-Familiarity with payment gateways, alternative payment methods, acquiring and international payment flows.
