Part time People Partner (6 mths, Maternity cover, West)

Job Description:

·       6 months contract (Maternity Cover)

·       2 – 3 days per week

·       Location: Jurong East

·       Salary: up to $350/day

 

Essential Responsibilities:

 

The People Partner is the main point of contact in Human Resources/People related matters for the subsidiary's leaders and employees as well as to external partners. He/She supports the Asia South cluster in the recruiting of qualified employees, training them and increasing their retention in the long term. The PP reports directly to the Senior Vice President for Asia South & Pacific and works in close contact with the Central PP who is based in the headquarters (Landsberg, Germany).

This is a contract (maternity) cover for 6 months’ assignment.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Talent Acquisition

·       End to end hiring of new or replacement headcounts within the Southeast Asia market inclusive of Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia.

·       Onboarding

·       Orientation

·       Alignment of probationary goals and setting up of target agreement with Line Manager

 

Payroll/Admin

·       Monthly management of payroll operations with designated vendors in Singapore and the Southeast Asia markets

·       Leave management using Success Factors

·       Onboarding and off-boarding payroll

·       Bonus processing

 

Audit

·       Respond to both internal and external audit queries on People Operation/Workflow

 

Employee Relations

·       In cases of escalation/performance gaps, conduct thorough and objective investigations

 

Employee Engagement

·       To provide support on internal employee engagement events e.g. Kick-Off preparation

·       To support the annual employee survey (results analysis and workshop if applicable)

 

Office Management

·       To provide support on office-related projects (if needed)

 

Requirement

·       Bachelor’s degree in human resources (HR) or a related field

·       Minimum 8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3–5 years in a People Partner / HR Business Partner role

·       Strong knowledge of the full employee lifecycle, including Talent Acquisition, Performance

·       Management, Employee Relations, Total Rewards and Learning/Development

·       Understanding employment laws, HR policies, and compliance requirements relevant to supported regions ideally in Southeast Asia markets

·       Clear, confident communicator with the ability to handle sensitive topics with professionalism and discretion

·       Experience in Success Factors (SAP) and handling EOR provider
