Job Description:
Job Responsibilities:
  • Support students individually or in small groups to achieve academic, social, emotional, and behavioural goals.
  • Collaborate with class teachers to develop differentiated learning programmes, individualised learning plans, and strategies tailored to student needs.
  • Conduct assessments, monitor progress, and use data to inform interventions and teaching practices.
  • Identify root causes of learning challenges and implement effective strategies to address them.
  • Coach and guide staff in implementing in-class support plans, including workshops and professional development.
  • Work closely with families to promote positive home-school communication and engagement.
  • Contribute to a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment that encourages high standards and individual excellence.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives, extracurricular programmes, and holistic learning activities.

Job Requirements
  • Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed., PGCE, or equivalent).
  • Learning Support, Special Education, or SEN qualification preferred (or evidence of progress towards one).
  • Proven classroom teaching experience, preferably at the Primary or Senior level in an international school setting.
  • Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs, including academic, social-emotional, and behavioural challenges.
  • Experience developing and implementing Individualised Learning Plans (ILPs) or differentiated instruction.
  • Strong understanding of international curricula (e.g., Cambridge, IGCSE) is desirable.
  • Ability to use assessment and data to monitor student progress and inform interventions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Capacity to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Inclusive, strengths-based philosophy and commitment to diversity.
  • Flexible, proactive, and hands-on approach.
