HR Manager

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of Human Resources within a multinational medical manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will serve as a strategic business partner while managing day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with Thai labour legislation, supporting business growth, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

This role requires a hands-on HR professional with strong manufacturing experience, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to balance both operational and strategic HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

HR Business Partner

  • Partner with business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide guidance to managers on employee relations, performance management, succession planning, and workforce planning.
  • Drive organizational effectiveness and continuous improvement initiatives.

Talent Acquisition

  • Lead the full recruitment lifecycle for all levels of hiring.
  • Develop recruitment strategies to attract high-quality talent.
  • Build relationships with recruitment partners, universities, and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee onboarding and induction programmes.

Employee Relations

  • Manage employee relations issues, investigations, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
  • Promote employee engagement and foster a positive working environment.
  • Support employee communication initiatives and welfare programmes.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Oversee payroll coordination with external providers.
  • Manage annual salary reviews, bonus processes, and benefits administration.
  • Conduct market benchmarking and salary surveys.
  • Ensure competitive compensation and benefits practices.

Learning & Development

  • Identify organizational training needs and develop annual training plans.
  • Support leadership development and succession planning initiatives.
  • Coordinate employee development programmes and performance improvement plans.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with Thai Labour Law and company policies.
  • Maintain HRIS data accuracy and employee records.
  • Prepare HR reports and workforce analytics for management.
  • Support internal and external audits.

Manufacturing & Operational Support

  • Support manufacturing operations through effective workforce planning.
  • Coordinate HR support for contractor and subcontractor employees.
  • Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and quality requirements.
  • Support BOI-related HR administration where applicable.

Quality & Compliance

  • Support quality management systems including ISO and regulatory audits.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure HR processes comply with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
  • Master's Degree is an advantage.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3–5 years in an HR Manager or senior HR leadership role.
  • Experience within medical devices, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, electronics, automotive, or other regulated manufacturing industries is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Thai Labour Law and employment regulations.
  • Experience supporting BOI-promoted companies is an advantage.
  • Experience managing outsourced or subcontractor workforces is preferred.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems such as SAP, Workday, Oracle, or PeopleSoft.
  • Strong English communication skills.
