Key Responsibilities

• Manage cost estimation, tender pricing and value engineering for construction projects.

• Review contracts and identify commercial risks, opportunities and obligations.

• Evaluate subcontractor quotations, prepare cost comparisons and support tender negotiations.

• Manage contracts with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.

• Handle variation orders, EOT, prolongation costs and contractual claims.

• Manage subcontractor claims, payments and final accounts.

• Work with project, procurement and commercial teams on contract and cost matters.

• Monitor project budgets, costs and commercial issues, and report to management.

• Support the resolution of contractual disputes and claims with clients, consultants and subcontractors.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction or related discipline.

• Minimum 10 years of relevant QS experience in the construction industry.

• Strong experience in tendering, bidding and both pre- and post-contract management.

• Hands-on experience in cost estimation, procurement, contract administration and commercial management.

• Strong experience in variation orders, EOT, prolongation and contractual claims.

• Experience in foundation and reinforced concrete (RC) structural works for medium to large-scale building projects.

• Good experience managing subcontractors, negotiations and commercial matters.

• Able to work independently, take ownership and work with minimal supervision.
