About the Role

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced (Senior) Accountant to join our finance team, supporting full-spectrum entity closing, treasury functions, budgeting, audit and tax compliance. This role suits a hands-on finance professional with strong technical grounding and the ability to work across multiple areas of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

Monthly Closing & Financial Reporting

• Complete the full set of entity closing, including preparation of journal entries, agreeing intercompany balances, and reviewing management accounts within group timelines
• Update audit schedules on a monthly basis
• Prepare, investigate and clear bank reconciliation items

Treasury Function

• Prepare notices related to interest and loan repayments
• Prepare documentation related to bank signatories and bank mandate updates

Budget & Forecast

• Support the rolling forecast and budget process, including preparation and submission of budget and forecast figures

Year-End Audit

• Liaise with auditors and complete year-end audits for subsidiaries
• Support the group audit process and meet group deadlines

Tax Matters

• Prepare GST/WHT filings
• Prepare and submit ECI and final tax computations
• Liaise with tax agents to ensure submission deadlines are met

Other

• Support system implementation and process improvement initiatives
• Undertake other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management

Preferred Experience

• Degree holder with at least 5 years of relevant experience, ideally within the hospitality industry
• Experience with Cognos and/or NetSuite preferred
• Proficiency in Excel is essential
