About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented (Senior) Accountant to join our finance team on a 1-year contract, supporting the full integration process for acquisitions and new business, alongside core financial reporting and audit responsibilities. This role suits a hands-on finance professional who is comfortable working across integration projects, monthly closing and year-end audit.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Process

• Support the full integration process, including data migration, system setup, mapping and related activities, upon and following acquisitions and new business

Financial Reporting

• Involved in monthly entity closing, including preparation of journal entries, agreeing intercompany balances, and reviewing management accounts within group timelines
• Update audit schedules on a monthly basis
• Prepare, investigate and clear bank reconciliation items

Year-End Audit

• Liaise with auditors and complete year-end audits for subsidiaries
• Support the group audit process and meet group deadlines

Other

• Support system implementation and process improvement initiatives
• Undertake other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management

Preferred Experience

• Degree holder with at least 5 years of relevant experience, ideally within the hospitality industry
• Experience with Cognos and/or NetSuite preferred
• Proficiency in Excel is essential
