Job Responsibilities

• Take overall ownership of project delivery, ensuring achievement of project objectives in terms of schedule, quality, safety, cost management, productivity, and contractual compliance.
• Plan, manage, and coordinate all site construction activities to ensure efficient execution and successful project completion within approved timelines.
• Lead and supervise project teams, including engineers, site supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and coordinate engineering designs, technical submissions, shop drawings, method statements (MOS), and structural calculations to ensure compliance with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Liaise closely with clients, consultants, architects, main contractors, subcontractors, and relevant government authorities to facilitate project execution and resolve project-related matters.
• Represent the company in project meetings, maintaining effective communication and strong working relationships with all stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and challenges, and implement timely corrective actions to address technical, operational, and commercial issues.
• Administer project contractual matters, including variation orders, claims, project valuations, progress payments, and contract correspondence.
• Ensure full compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations, quality management requirements, and company policies and procedures.
• Manage project close-out activities, including testing and commissioning, handover, defect rectification, final account settlement, and collection of outstanding payments.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, labour suppliers, vendors, and industry partners to support effective project delivery and resource planning.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, Building, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience within the façade, curtain wall, steel structure, or building construction industry in Singapore.
• Strong technical knowledge of façade engineering, with the ability to review engineering designs, structural calculations, and technical documentation.
• Proven track record in delivering complex façade projects, including irregular-shaped, freeform, unitised, and double-curved façade systems.
• Experience managing large-scale curtain wall projects and participation in landmark or iconic developments will be highly advantageous.
• Sound understanding of curtain wall construction methodologies, site operations, material planning, quality assurance, safety management, and project cost control.
• Well-versed in contract administration, variation orders, claims management, progress claims, and final account negotiations.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage multiple project priorities effectively.
• Capable of independently preparing technical submissions, method statements, project reports, progress updates, and project correspondence.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, for effective communication with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• WSH Management in Construction Industry (WSHMCI) certification.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Specialist Diploma in Construction Management (SDCM) or other relevant qualifications recognised by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA).
• APM, CPAS, or other recognised project management and construction-related certifications.
• Established network of local subcontractors, labour resources, suppliers, and project support personnel within Singapore.
• Demonstrated experience in building and leading multidisciplinary project teams, including engineering, commercial, planning, and safety functions.
