Plant Technician (West / Chemical / Office hr)

Responsibilities
- Manage Plant operations ensure top of the class in terms of safety records, efficiency, quality and technical competency of the entire warehouse.
- Ensure safe operations of the chemical warehouse processes.
- Ensure all HS stored are within existing license limit.
- Handle daily container stuffing and unstuffing, daily picking movement,
- Ensure equipment upkeep so that entire operation is always ready, including Disposal mitigation of leaked containers.
- To be trained and participate in emergency response team activities
- Support development of contract staff with regards to training in safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Support incinerator operations and maintenance. Liaise with maintenance team and contractors for sustainable maintenance process, keeping equipment in good operational status.
- Support all internal and external safety audits assessments.
- Support productivity projects that lead to savings for operations.
- Backs up supervisor.
Requirements
- Min 3years experience in Chemical / Oil & Gas industry preferred.
- ITE or Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Science or any other related field
- Possessing Forklift driving licence (below 5-ton) will have an advantage.
