Maintenance Engineer

A hands-on, technically advanced role focused on troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing access control and security systems across multiple client environments.
• Acts as L1/L2 escalation point for complex technical issues, performing root cause analysis (RCA) and implementing corrective actions
• Diagnoses and resolves hardware, software, network, and system integration issues, including credentialing and access workflows
• Works with vendors for deep technical support, patches, and upgrades
• Requires expertise in platforms like LenelS2 OnGuard, HID/Mercury, Genetec, Suprema, ZKTeco, Axis, and Milestone VMS
• Responsible for preventive maintenance, system optimization, and lifecycle management
• Ensures proper documentation, system updates, and long-term reliability in mission-critical environments
Education:
• Diploma / Nitec in IT, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• Technical certifications in CCTV and Access Control systems are highly recommended.
• Experience: 4 – 5 years of hands-on experience
Skills:
Strong understanding of:
• Network connection
• SQL databases, Windows Server, virtualized environments
• Door hardware (maglocks, strikes, sensors, interlocks)
• Identity and access management principles
• Video Management Software
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose both software and hardware issues.
• Willingness to perform hands-on field work
• Able to perform standby or after-hours support upon fault call activated on rotation basis
• Class 3 license is a must.
