Working hours:

For Head (Nursing and Therapy)

Mon to Fri

•         9 hours shift - 8am to 6pm

•         8 hours shift - 8am to 5pm

The employee shall work 44 hours a week, excluding meal breaks.

For Senior Staff Nurse

Mon to Fri

•         Required to work public holidays

•         9 hours shift - 8am to 6pm

•         8 hours shift - 8am to 5pm

Job Description

•         Assist the Superintendent in the management of the Welfare Home in accordance with the Destitute Persons Act and Destitute Persons (Welfare Homes) Rules

•         Plan, manage and control the safe and overall efficient delivery of quality healthcare services to the residents in compliance with the relevant legislative requirements as well as Standard Operating Procedures, Guidelines, Service Standards and directives issued by the authorities

•         Responsible for carrying out preventive and curative medical services in the Home under the instructions of the medical doctor(s)

Requirements

•         Degree / Advanced Diploma / Diploma in Nursing

•         Full or Conditional registration with Singapore Nursing Board

•         Minimum 3–5 years supervisory / management / leadership experience

•         Experience in aged care / social service / therapy-integrated environment preferred

•         Strong knowledge in policy development, quality management, and staff supervision
