Job Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons in Drama for students.
- Create a supportive learning environment that nurtures curiosity, creativity, and self-expression.
- Develop students' expressions and dramatic skills through varied, hands-on experiences.
- Organise and direct performances, concerts, and school events that celebrate student talent.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate the arts into the wider curriculum and school life.
- Incorporate technology to enhance teaching, learning, and creative outcomes.
Job Requirements
- A recognised degree in Drama or Performing Arts Education with a professional teaching qualification.
- Minimum 4 years of teaching experience across all age groups in an international school setting.
- Proven ability to teach Drama, inspire creativity and confidence in young learners.
- Experience organising performances and productions, fostering teamwork and artistic expression.
- Proficiency in using technology to support learning and creativity.
- Desirable Skills and Personal Attributes:
- Experience teaching students for whom English is an Additional Language (EAL).
- Familiarity with international curricula (preferably Cambridge Curriculum).
- A student-centred educator who inspires curiosity, creativity, and confidence.
- A reflective practitioner committed to professional growth and innovation.
- A strong communicator who builds positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A collaborative team player enthusiastic about contributing to school life and performing arts events.
