A well-established retail and distribution business is seeking an experienced CFO to lead financial strategy, business growth, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business objectives

• Lead all accounting, finance, budgeting, treasury, and cash flow management functions

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and ensure compliance with relevant regulations

• Analyze financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to senior management

• Drive business expansion initiatives through investment analysis and feasibility studies

• Evaluate new business opportunities, capital investments, and branch expansion projects

• Optimize working capital, inventory management, and overall business profitability

• Monitor financial risks and strengthen internal controls and governance practices

• Develop budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes

• Build and enhance financial reporting systems, dashboards, and business intelligence tools

• Partner with operational teams to improve efficiency, cost control, and financial performance

• Manage banking relationships, financing activities, and capital structure planning

• Lead, mentor, and develop finance and accounting teams

• Support digital transformation initiatives within finance and accounting functions

• Present financial insights and recommendations to executive management

Requirements:

✔ Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields

✔ 10+ years of accounting and finance experience

✔ Strong leadership experience managing finance and accounting teams

✔ Experience in retail, wholesale, trading, FMCG, or distribution businesses preferred

✔ Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis

✔ Experience in ERP systems, financial reporting, and performance management

✔ Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

✔ CPA, CPD, or related professional qualification is an advantage
