Job Description:
  • Identify & develop new business opportunity to drive business growth in Singapore and Malaysia
  • Lead and manage the Sales team across SEA region (Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia) including direct engagement with potential clients through providing competitive & innovative Supply Chain solutions, specifically Contract Logistics services
  • To drive Business Development with focus in Contract Logistics (Warehousing services)
  • To build and lead a strong Business Development team towards achieving both short-term & long-term sales target (performance review is based on half- yearly generated  revenue & profit)
  • To identify and develop new external business opportunities, generate sales activities to solicit contract logistics business, mainly in Singapore and Malaysia
  • Able to collate customer’s requirements and to propose with warehousing solutions
  • Work closely with Contract Logistics Innovation and Operational team during on-boarding and implementation process
  • To report and present sales performance update during internal meetings
  • Perform cross selling and upselling of existing accounts, if any
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree above (major in Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field is preferred)
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in logistics, specifically Contract Logistics business
  • Proven track record in generating New Business Development/Sales account
  • Candidate with employment history working in a Global/ Top forwarding company are welcome to apply
  • Experienced in developing and managing large-scale, long-term contracts and global accounts
  • Strong customer network connection in South East Asia and Australia is a plus
  • Knowledge in supply chain solutions system (FIS/WMS/TMS)
  • Good staying power and career progression during past employment
  • Knowledge in overall logistics business (Air, Ocean, Local Transportation, Warehouse)
  • Strong in leadership skills (able to motivate/ drive the team towards achieving sales target and KPIs)
  • Able to work under pressure and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills
  • Proficient in English and able to communicate well with all level
  • Good in problem solving and analytical skills
