About the Opportunity
Our client is a leading international manufacturer, supporting global customers through advanced manufacturing, supply chain, and operational excellence capabilities.
As part of its continued growth, the organization is seeking an experienced Associate Director, Supply Chain to lead end-to-end supply chain operations and drive operational excellence across a complex manufacturing environment.
This position will be a key member of the Site Leadership Team, partnering closely with Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Commercial stakeholders to support business growth, customer satisfaction, and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee end-to-end Supply Chain functions including Planning, Procurement, Sourcing, Inventory Management, Warehousing, Logistics, Import & Export, and Industrial Engineering.
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies that support business objectives, operational efficiency, and customer service excellence.
- Drive Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), demand planning, production planning, and inventory optimization initiatives.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational effectiveness and continuous improvement.
- Lead cost reduction, productivity improvement, and operational excellence initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve supply chain performance, mitigate risks, and strengthen supplier relationships.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning activities while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and internal governance processes.
- Build, develop, and mentor high-performing teams while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Support regional and global supply chain initiatives as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience within Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, or Factory Management environments.
- Proven leadership experience managing multiple supply chain functions within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of planning, procurement, logistics, inventory management, and production operations.
- Experience with ERP systems and supply chain analytics tools.
- Demonstrated success in implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance operational performance, customer requirements, and financial objectives.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to work across multicultural teams.
- Fluent in Thai and English. Mandarin language skills would be advantageous.
