Corporate Secretary

- Manage a portfolio of clients and ensure compliance with the Companies Act 2016 and other statutory requirements.
- Prepare and lodge statutory documents, including company incorporations, annual returns, resolutions, and other filings with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM).
- Organize and coordinate board meetings, annual general meetings (AGMs), and extraordinary general meetings (EGMs), including the preparation of agendas and meeting minutes.
- Maintain and update statutory records, registers, and company secretarial documents.
- Advise clients on corporate governance, statutory compliance, and company secretarial matters.
- Liaise with SSM, regulatory authorities, and other government agencies on corporate secretarial matters.
- Monitor statutory deadlines and ensure timely submission of required documents.
- Build strong client relationships and collaborate with internal teams to deliver quality corporate secretarial services.
- Perform other corporate secretarial duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Corporate Administration, Law, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Licensed or eligible to act as a Company Secretary under the Companies Act 2016 (e.g., MAICSA/CGI, MIA, Malaysian Bar, or other prescribed bodies) is preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in corporate secretarial practice.
- Experience managing a portfolio of clients and handling company incorporations, statutory filings, and board documentation.
- Strong knowledge of the Companies Act 2016, SSM regulations, and corporate governance practices.
- Familiarity with corporate secretarial software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to work independently with strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills while contributing effectively within a team.
Salary:
