Travel Frequency: Weekly within Ho Chi Minh City; 3–4 times per quarter to Hanoi/Da Nang.
Job Overview
We are looking for an dynamic Associate Marketing Manager (Community) to spearhead the management and expansion of our passionate user communities across multiple sports disciplines, including running, triathlon, cycling, golf, and general fitness.
In this role, you will serve as a brand advocate and product expert, shaping the local community strategy aligned with broader regional fitness goals. You will be responsible for orchestrating end-to-end community programs, from highly engaging offline sporting events to active online social media groups (e.g., brand-owned running and cycling clubs).
Key Responsibilities
Community Strategy & Growth: Localize and execute regional fitness and brand guidelines to build a robust, highly engaged local fan base across various sports categories.
Event & Activation Management: Plan, organize, and execute experiential sports marketing activations and community programs from inception to completion, encompassing both physical offline events and digital Facebook community groups.
KOL & Partner Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for sponsored athletes, sports clubs, and event organizers. Maintain strong relationships, manage sponsorships, and ensure maximum brand and product exposure while monitoring contractual obligations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Drive internal alignment with Sales, Channel Marketing, PR, and regional product/creative teams. Manage external vendors, event agencies, co-op partners, distributors, and certified coaches/pacers on a project-by-project basis.
Partnership Exploration: Proactively identify and establish co-branding opportunities and strategic partnerships to boost brand awareness and organic product adoption through community channels.
Training & Product Education: Structure annual training curricula for specialized running/sports clubs. Deliver accurate technical product updates and training sessions to coaches, pacers, and key sports stakeholders.
Content Co-creation: Collaborate with external creative designers to develop visually compelling social media materials for community events and brand-owned social platforms.
Job Requirements (Qualifications & Key Competencies)
Professional Experience & Technical Knowledge
Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience in Event Marketing, Sports Marketing, or directly within the sports/fitness industry.
High familiarity with smartwatches, wearable technology, and the sports gadget industry.
Deep passion for new technologies, consumer electronics, and smart devices.
Language & Education
Fluency in English and Vietnamese (both written and spoken) is required for cross-border and local stakeholder communication. Proficiency in Chinese is considered a strong advantage.
Soft Skills & Cultural Fit
Personal Passion for Sports: Must have a genuine passion for running and cycling. Active membership or involvement in established local sports clubs/crews is highly preferred.
