Job Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

o    Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Freight Forwarding, Contract Logistics and Transportation in Singapore.

o    Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline.

o    Convert opportunities into profitable business

o    Prepare and present proposals, RFQs/RFPs, and pricing models to potential clients.

o    Achieve sales targets set and provide timely sales & marketing strategic information

Client Relationship Management

o    Establish and maintain long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.

o    Act as the primary point of contact during the sales process and transition to implementation.

Market Intelligence & Strategy

o    Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.

o    Provide input into the company's business strategy and identify growth areas.

Performance Reporting

o    Generate reports, and track KPIs related to sales performance and business pipeline.

o    Identify target customers as sales objectives and update sales pipelines weekly to management team

Others

o    Ensure all business transactions meet company’s P&L objectives

o    Perform any other duties as assigned by the department head

Job Requirements

• Degree in supply Chain/ Logistics and / or related field.
• At least 5 years of proven, relevant BD experience in Freight Forwarding, Contract Logistics & Transportation
• Good understanding of freight forwarding, warehousing, transportation, customs processes, and supply chain solutions.
• Proven track record in business development and sales.
• Good level of knowledge of MS Office
• Strong business development and sales management skills.
• Strong communicator with effective written and oral communication skills to persuade, influence, negotiate and present business case.
