Job Description:
Role Overview
We are seeking a high-calibre Analyst / Associate to support the Group across investments, corporate finance and strategic initiatives. The role will work closely with senior management on evaluating investment opportunities, executing transactions, analysing existing businesses and supporting strategic projects across the Group’s portfolio of operating companies and investments.
This is a generalist role with exposure to senior management, external advisors and a broad range of industries and businesses.

Key Responsibilities
Investments & Corporate Finance
  • Evaluate potential acquisitions, investments, partnerships and other strategic opportunities.
  • Conduct market, industry and company research and develop investment theses.
  • Build financial models, valuation analyses and investment cases.
  • Support commercial, financial and operational due diligence.
  • Assist with transaction execution, including preparation of investment papers, presentations and transaction materials.
  • Support negotiations and coordination with external advisors and counterparties.

Portfolio & Business Analysis
  • Analyse the performance and strategic position of existing portfolio companies and operating businesses.
  • Support capital allocation, business reviews and value creation initiatives.
  • Conduct financial and operational analyses to identify opportunities for growth, improvement and optimisation.
  • Assist with strategic reviews and ad hoc projects across different businesses and industries.

Strategic Projects
  • Support senior management on group-level strategic initiatives, including M&A, business expansion, restructuring, partnerships and new business opportunities.
  • Conduct sector mapping, market analysis and research on emerging investment themes and opportunities.
  • Prepare materials and analysis for senior management and investment / board discussions.

Requirements
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, Big 4 Deal Advisory /Transaction Services, corporate development, private equity or strategy consulting.
  • Strong financial modelling, valuation, FP&A and analytical skills.
  • Strong academic record with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently on complex analyses.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commercially minded, intellectually curious and comfortable working across multiple industries and business situations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with changing priorities.
  • CFA, CA/ACCA or other relevant professional qualifications are advantageous.
