Job Description
· Process and review payables and receivables, acting primarily as checker to ensure payment accuracy, completeness and compliance before processing, and update the relevant accounting systems.
· Liaise with the Settlements team for processing of trade invoices
· Prepare daily bank reconciliation and following up on outstanding reconciling items
· Process overhead invoices, employee payroll and claims, and post the corresponding journals
· Responsible for overhead recharges and liaison with counterparties
· Cover team members in ARAP team when required
· Assist with tax and audit matters
· Address audit points/observations
· Other ad-hoc duties and projects
Requirements:
· Diploma or Degree holder in Accounting or any related field
· Min 10 years of relevant AP and AR experience, preferably in Trading companies
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under time pressure
· Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
· Meticulous, conscientious, hands-on, and positive
· Experience in automating payment projects
· Able to work independently with minimal supervision and has good knowledge of accounting principles
Desirable Skills:
· Sun, Horizon and/or IMOS system experience is an advantage
· Proficiency in MS Office, especially in Microsoft Excel
