Senior Executive, Engineering & Facilities Management (6 months contract)

This role is responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of building infrastructure, ensuring the operational reliability of building services and M&E systems, as well as coordinating with external vendors, managing projects, and overseeing safety compliance activities
Engineering & Facilities Operations & Maintenance (Hard & Soft Services)
- Oversee day-to-day facilities operations across office spaces, common areas, and building infrastructure
- Plan and manage preventive and corrective maintenance programmes for Building and Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems, including but not limited to, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing & Sanitary, Fire Protection systems, and Lifts & Escalators
- Coordinate and monitor soft services (cleaning, pest control, landscaping, waste management, security) to ensure consistent service standards
- Conduct regular inspections to identify defects, safety risks, and maintenance gaps, and ensure timely rectification
- Respond promptly to facilities-related issues, service requests, and stakeholder feedback
- Budgeting & Cost Control - Support budget planning and monitoring
Vendor & Contract Management
- Ensure vendors meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and contractual obligations.
- Support tender processes, including preparation of technical specifications, evaluation of proposals, and contract negotiations.
- Monitor vendor performance, conduct periodic reviews, and address service gaps or non-compliance
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure operations comply with relevant regulations, building codes, and health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Conduct safety inspections and support fire drills and emergency preparedness activities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, licenses, permits, and inspection reports.
Key Requirements
- Minimum ITE or Diploma in Building Services, Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Structural), Facilities Management, or a related field with at least 3 years of relevant experience in Building & Facilities Management
- Candidates with professional certifications such as GMAP, FSM, WEMP and/or LEW (Grade 7 or higher) would be an added advantage
- Strong technical knowledge of M&E systems, in particular on HVAC, Electrical systems
- Strong knowledge of statutory building requirements, safety procedures and regulations and risk management
- Flexibility to work on weekends in emergencies services

Project Engineer (33 months contract)

- Review project related submission (specification, drawing, test procedure and method statement etc.) and facilitate project team on the following-up to ensure the submission is compliant with project requirement;
- Supervise on-site installation, testing and commissioning, interfacing matter, integration testing, punchlist/defect work and handover activity to ensure the quality of work is compliant with project requirement;
- Coordinate with project team, contractors, interfacing contractors and other project stakeholders to resolve site issues and clashes to ensure the work is in line with project requirement;
- Facilitate project team to monitor the working schedule, update, review and report the project progress to be in line with project timeline;
- Attend project related meetings, coordination meetings and interfacing meetings to ensure project delivery is on track; and
- Support project team to manage project related work to ensure project is delivered based on project timeline.
- Recognised degree in Engineering (electronics or mechanical) or related discipline;
- Relevant project management experience:
- At least 3 years in project coordination, design review, site installation, testing and commissioning of rail E&M system in Singapore transit environment; and
- Relevant experience in coordinating and interfacing with local transit stakeholders (i.e. railway/transit operator) to carry out A&A, system upgrading or new system implementation work at revenue stations; and
- Experience in Automatic Fare Collection System upgrade, relocation and system migration projects in transit environment would be an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, BIM or similar drawing tools for design drawing review;
- Highly motivated and pro-active with the ability to work independently;
- Good collaboration and attitude to work with team members;
- Ability to cope with flexible working hours;
- Be expected to perform night work or work during engineering hours;
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Good communication skills in English; and
- Be expected to travel regularly between office and sites.

Requirements:
3 - 4 years of experience in full cycle recruitment, preferably within an in-house Talent Acquisition function with exposure to regional recruitment.
Proven track record of recruiting diverse roles varying in complexity and hiring volume, especially in recruiting technology and engineering talent.
Experience developing sourcing strategies, data-driven recruitment and possess ability to use data to drive recruitment strategy.
Proficient in HRIS, ATS platforms (Workday), workforce analytics tools (PowerBI).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience working in complex and large organisation/MNC is an advantage.
Experience in the recruitment of support functions/commercial roles is an advantage.
Possess ability to operate effectively in an ambiguous environment and embrace changes as they arise.
Strong sense of ownership, positive learning mindset, team player.
