Essential Responsibilities:
The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for planning and execution of BD activities resulting in significant growth with dynamically driving Company to market leadership in the assigned region. This position works independently and as a team player. This is a contingent position of 12 months period, based in Singapore responsible for Vietnam and Philippines market development.
Main Responsibilities
· Promote and spread benefits messaging of product technology through Company Cooking Live culinary events
· Increase customer base through customer development within all food service market segments and applicable commercial market segments.
· Development and expanding of efficient and long-term partner and dealer network.
· Increase customer base via developing the Consultant/Designer network for specification.
· Be able to build a strong referral network.
· Document of customer-related information and activity within our Customer Record Management system.
· Manage and grow territory volume by pursuing both identified opportunities and creating new opportunities.
· Pre-plan daily/weekly/monthly plan, work the plan and follow up.
· Prepare monthly reports/forecasts and provide customer analysis.
· Prepare and manage your region’s business plan and annual personal/regional budget.
· Develop, implement, and review with Directors, business strategies documented in business and marketing plans needed to secure and sustain growth targets.
· Participation in Regional/National Trade shows and business meetings.
· Monitor and report issues affecting business, competitive pressures in the market, and competitor activity.
· Coordination and implementation of all business activities
· Pre- and after-sales activities of end-users (visits and training)
Requirements
· A minimum of 5+ years of business development experience specific to Vietnam and Philippines market with proven track record of increased business growth, or with food service operations/chef experience desired; business development and/or marketing experience within the food industry is preferred.
· Associate/bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; culinary degree or equivalent experience desired.
· Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills at all levels from corporate down through all levels, including good listening skills.
· Self-starter, detail-oriented, enthusiastic, motivated, and results-oriented.
· Able to work independently and as a team player and able to work with minimal supervision.
· Ability to solve problems, overcome objections, and influence others.
· Strong organization, time management skills and ability to multi-task.
· Ability to negotiate, leverage leads and close.
· Have experience setting budgets, creating plans to meet budgets, and working your plan.
· Computer skills: MS Office.
· Valid driver license
· Additional language competency relevant to the market needs will be a plus
· Willingness for overnight away-from-home travel up to 40% of time.

Financial Accounting
- Prepare monthly closing journals, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
