Quality Assurance Manager

Position Summary

Our client, a global manufacturer within the healthcare and medical technology sector, is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead the Quality function for its manufacturing operations in Thailand.

This role will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and continuously improving the site's Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory standards, customer requirements, and international quality systems. The successful candidate will also play a key role in supporting new product introductions, product transfers, validation activities, supplier quality, and building a high-performing quality organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the establishment, implementation, and continuous improvement of the site's Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Build, develop, and lead the Quality team, including recruitment, coaching, performance management, and capability development.
  • Serve as the site's Quality Management Representative, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory and quality standards.
  • Oversee Quality Control operations to ensure products consistently meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI), product transfer, localization, and engineering change projects from a quality perspective.
  • Develop and manage supplier quality programs, including supplier qualification, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead customer quality communications, including complaint investigations, deviation management, quality performance reviews, and corrective action activities.
  • Manage calibration programs and ensure ongoing equipment compliance.
  • Plan, coordinate, and lead customer, certification, and regulatory audits while ensuring timely closure of audit findings.
  • Oversee validation activities, including IQ, OQ, PQ, process validation, equipment qualification, and validation lifecycle management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and quality operations using structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Promote a strong Quality Culture by providing coaching, training, and cross-functional collaboration throughout the organization.
  • Support additional business and operational initiatives as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 6 years of Quality Assurance experience within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or regulated healthcare manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience establishing, maintaining, and improving Quality Management Systems within a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 13485, GMP, regulatory compliance, quality systems, validation, CAPA, supplier quality, and audit management.
  • Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI), product transfers, process validation, and manufacturing quality.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in building, developing, and managing Quality teams.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of integrity with the ability to communicate effectively with senior management and regulatory bodies.
  • Fluent in both Thai and English.

Job Description

 

This role will support end‑to‑end recruitment delivery while building strong talent pipelines and enhancing our employer brand. This role partners closely with Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners, and external vendors to attract, assess, and onboard talent aligned with current and future business needs.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Talent Acquisition & Hiring

·       Manage end‑to‑end recruitment activities including job posting, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, interviewing, and candidate selection

·       Develop and maintain talent pipelines and talent mapping to support ongoing and future manpower requirements

·       Partner with hiring managers to drive effective interview processes and hiring decisions

·       Conduct interviews and perform reference checks in line with company guidelines

 

Applicant Tracking System (ATS) & Recruitment Analytics

·       Administer and manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and recruitment platforms

·       Maintain recruitment dashboards and reports to track hiring performance, time-to-fill, and pipeline effectiveness

·       Analyse recruitment and attrition data to identify trends, root causes, and workforce risks, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders

·       Ensure data accuracy, reporting integrity, and effective use of recruitment systems

·       Optimise recruitment workflows, system functionalities, and reporting capabilities to improve efficiency and user experience

·       Educate and support hiring managers on effective use of recruitment tools

 

Employer Branding & Recruitment Marketing

·       Drive employer branding initiatives to strengthen the company’s presence in the talent market

·       Manage LinkedIn presence by promoting roles and showcasing job holders beyond job postings

·       Support recruitment marketing efforts and career website content reviews to enhance talent attraction

 

Search Firm & Vendor Management

·       Manage relationships with recruitment agencies and executive search partners

·       Review and standardise Terms of Business (TOB) using approved master templates

·       Support new vendor creation, invoicing approvals, and invoice validation

·       Evaluate vendor effectiveness and ensure compliance with internal governance standards

 

Early Careers, IHL Outreach & Career Conversion Programme

·       Partner with HR Business Partners on early‑career and career conversion initiatives, including:Institute of Higher Learning (IHL) outreach Internship programmes and intern engagement Internal job opportunities and career conversion initiatives

·       Support internship sourcing and conversion pipelines as part of long‑term talent strategy

·       Design, implement, and continuously enhance a structured internship programme and framework

·       Establish processes to assess, track, and convert high-performing interns into a sustainable talent pipeline for the Management Associate (MA) programme

·       Partner with business stakeholders to ensure meaningful internship assignments, performance evaluation, and engagement

·       Support career conversion initiatives by conducting preliminary eligibility assessments, ensuring employees and roles meet grant requirements prior to HRBP and stakeholder review

 

Onboarding Experience

·       Drive continuous improvement across Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding processes

·       Contribute to enhancing candidate and new hire experience, including onboarding and immersion programmes

·       Manage Day One onboarding and quarterly immersion programmes to strengthen new hire experience, early engagement, and cultural integration.

 

Ad Hoc Responsibilities

·       Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by the line manager to support business needs

 

 

Qualifications & Experience

 

·       Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

·       Minimum 5 years of Talent Acquisition experience (In-house or Agency)

·       Able to manage high volume of recruitment activities

·       Familiar with ATS system

·       Available immediately
