Job Responsibilities

Job Requirements
- AJLC certification or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience teaching Japanese is required.
- Previous experience in a school environment is an advantage, as the role includes administrative responsibilities, extracurricular activity (ECA) involvement, conducting parent-teacher conferences in English, and preparing report cards and assessments.
- Candidates must conduct a demonstration lesson as part of the interview process (without students present).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
- Ability to teach Japanese to non-native Japanese learners using English as the medium of instruction (indirect teaching approach).
- Capable of independently communicating with English-speaking parents, participating in school meetings, and understanding instructions delivered in English.
