The principal purpose of the QA Specialist is to be responsible for supporting the successful implementation and continuous improvement of Responsible Sourcing and Quality Assurance (QA) programs across Vietnam, Cambodia, and other Southeast Asia countries as assigned, including but not limited to Responsible Sourcing (RS), Enterprise Quality Assessment (EQA), Inspection, and other quality-related initiatives.

The position serves as a regional QA resource by evaluating program execution, assessing third-party service provider performance, supporting supplier and factory continuous improvement initiatives, and facilitating regional QA initiatives to ensure the consistent implementation of Responsible Sourcing and Quality Assurance programs and expectations.

The QA Specialist works closely with the Shanghai QA team, suppliers, factories, third-party service providers, and cross-functional teams, while providing regional support to the Shanghai QA team and management to support strategic initiatives, sourcing expansion, and continuous improvement across Southeast Asia.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

Support Responsible Sourcing and QA Programs Success and Continuous Improvement

  • Support the implementation and success of Responsible Sourcing and QA programs across Vietnam, Cambodia and other Southeast Asia countries as assigned, including Responsible Sourcing (RS), Enterprise Quality Assessment (EQA), Inspection, and other quality-related initiatives.
  • Evaluate program execution through report reviews, factory visits, on-site observations, and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Support follow-up and verification of corrective actions and improvement plans to promote program effectiveness.
  • Identify program gaps, operational risks, and improvement opportunities, and provide recommendations and technical support as appropriate.

Third-Party Service Provider Performance Management

  • Assess the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of activities performed by third-party service providers.
  • Monitor third-party service provider performance and compliance with company requirements, standards, and program expectations.
  • Conduct report reviews, on-site observations and performance evaluations to identify execution gaps, operational risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support third-party service provider capability development and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to the Shanghai QA and management regarding third-party service provider performance and overall program execution effectiveness.

Support Regional QA Initiatives

  • Support the deployment of regional QA programs, projects, strategic initiatives, and other QA-related activities.
  • Participate in supplier onboarding, sourcing expansion, factory readiness reviews, and other business support activities as assigned.
  • Support program enhancement initiatives, pilot projects, process improvements, and best-practice implementation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Stakeholder Support

  • Provide regional support to cross-functional teams through factory visits, program assessments, supplier engagement and special projects to support business objectives and operational success.
  • Participate in workshops, training sessions, supplier engagement activities, and knowledge-sharing programs.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers, factories, third-party service providers, the Shanghai QA team and cross functional team.
  • Perform other duties, projects, and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of experience in Responsible Sourcing related function.
  • Be familiar with social compliance audit process and requirements.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with fluent English and local language.
  • Good communication skills and driving collaboration
  • Organized, accurate and detail-oriented
  • Effective email and telephone communication
  • Teamwork approach and good interpersonal skills with different offices
  • Familiar with MS Excel tool operation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of experience in social compliance audit or QA related function
  • Familiar with Excel Marcos, could use VBA generate marco scripts.
  • Familiar with BSCI, SEDEX, RBA, WRAP procedure and requirement
  • Certified in ISO 9001; SA8000
  • Retail Environment Experience
