(a) Responsibilities:
The scope of Project Engineer shall include but not limited to the following:
  • Review project related submission (specification, drawing, test procedure and method statement etc.) and facilitate project team on the following-up to ensure the submission is compliant with project requirement;
  • Supervise on-site installation, testing and commissioning, interfacing matter, integration testing, punchlist/defect work and handover activity to ensure the quality of work is compliant with project requirement;

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Recognised degree in Engineering (electronics or mechanical) or related discipline;
  • Relevant project management experience:
  • At least 3 years in project coordination, design review, site installation, testing and commissioning of rail E&M system in Singapore transit environment; and
  • Relevant experience in coordinating and interfacing with local transit stakeholders (i.e. railway/transit operator) to carry out A&A, system upgrading or new system implementation work at revenue stations; and
  • Experience in Automatic Fare Collection System upgrade, relocation and system migration projects in transit environment would be an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, BIM or similar drawing tools for design drawing review;
  • Highly motivated and pro-active with the ability to work independently;

Job Requirements

Programme Management

Job Title: Senior Analyst, Procurement (P2)

Role Scope

General Responsibilities

  1. Procure goods and services from local and overseas sources in compliance with the Company’s Supply Chain Procurement procedures, Code of Ethics, Global Trade, EH&S requirements, and applicable corporate, legal and country regulations.

  2. Apply established procurement policies, procedures and business practices to support operational and business needs, while ensuring compliance with ethics, global trade, EH&S and other regulated requirements.

Procurement Execution and Stakeholder Support

  3. Review vendor accounts periodically to identify inactive vendors, consolidation opportunities and potential improvements to reduce vendor base complexity.

  4. Work with requestors, Logistics, Accounts Payable and other stakeholders to resolve vendor payment issues, invoice discrepancies and payable matters.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation

  1. Apply continuous improvement tools (e.g., CORE) to identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, reduce non-value-added activities and strengthen work area effectiveness.

  2. Support cost reduction initiatives by identifying, evaluating and recommending opportunities within Procurement or in collaboration with functional stakeholders and suppliers.

Reporting and Documentation

  1. Prepare, publish and maintain standard procurement reports and dashboards as assigned, including vendor performance metrics, commodity program metrics and management reporting.

  2. Ensure proper retention and archiving of procurement documents, including purchase orders, supplier quotations, order acknowledgements, correspondence and other records required for audit, compliance, reference and procedural purposes.

Vendor Accreditation and Compliance Support

  1. Facilitate vendor EH&S training requirements and maintain the accredited vendor list, supplier database, records and licenses required for approved or accredited vendors.

  2. Support compliance with vendor accreditation requirements by coordinating updates, tracking expiry dates and engaging stakeholders or suppliers for required actions.

Commodity and Integration Program Support

Commodity Lead Responsibilities

  1. Act as the primary point of contact between the Company and assigned integration or commodity vendors, where appointed.

  2. Maintain working knowledge of the relevant Master Terms Agreement, Terms and Conditions, Service Agreements and program requirements to support effective program management.

  3. Lead or support program members through transition, implementation and stabilization phases, ensuring progress is aligned with agreed objectives and performance expectations.

  4. Monitor supplier performance, participate in periodic supplier reviews and initiate recovery actions when program performance deviates from the agreed plan or metrics.

Commodity Program Member Responsibilities

Required Education

·       Teach Marketing modules across academic programmes and short courses at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels and contribute to teaching in at least one other business discipline (e.g., Management, Communication or Human Resource Management).

·       Undertake the roles of Programme Leader and Module Leader across various programmes, as assigned

·       Ensure teaching, assessment and academic delivery are aligned with institutional quality assurance frameworks and university partner requirements.

Teaching & Learning

·       Take on the role as the Programme Leader and Module Leader as assigned.

·       Manage the team of associate lecturers including lecture induction, class observations and conduct staff development seminars.

·       Design and develop high quality curriculum and course materials within the existing academic framework.

·       Review and ensure all coursework and exam assessments meet the intended learning outcomes of each module according to the course and module specification.

·       Administer the setting and marking of coursework and examination, conduct internal moderation of all coursework with marking guides and QPMS examination in alignment with the course and module specification.

·       Facilitate the internal moderation of all coursework and examination results in alignment with the course and module specification before presentation to the end of term for Module/Subject Assessment Board and Program Assessment Board.

·       Facilitate university site visits, the university audits and program reviews.

·       Conduct objective assessments on coursework and examination appeal cases.

·       Supervise Undergraduate and Postgraduate Final Year Projects/Dissertation/Research Work and facilitate the classes/workshops as assigned.

·       Prepare and conduct lectures and tutorials/workshops/lab sessions/studio sessions as assigned (including overseas if required).

·       Review the student module evaluation and conduct the student focus groups or Student-Staff Liaison meetings.

·       Engage in student development by providing strong learning support and monitoring of students’ academic performances.

·       Advise students with respect to academic performance, career opportunities, and pursuit of advanced studies.

·       Develop online learning strategies with a duality of pedagogical functions (online learning, blended learning).

·       Support or lead the projects in setting up with new or existing partner University or industry partner, and to prepare the documentation needed for the approval process.

·       Monitor student engagement and academic progression, and implement early intervention strategies for students at risk.

·       Lead or support academic workshops on study skills, academic writing, referencing, research methods and assessment preparedness.

Research & Knowledge Exchange

·       Engage in appropriate scholarly and professional activities to support and maintain AACSB faculty qualification standards, in line with institutional expectations.

·       Demonstrate working knowledge or familiarity with research methods and relevant quantitative and qualitative analysis tools (e.g. SPSS, R, Excel, NVivo, and online survey platforms).

·       Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of e‑learning platforms, Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning tools to support blended and online learning delivery.

Team Collaboration

·       Review and approve teaching assignments as proposed by programme executives.

·       Extend and enhance the work of the department by promoting programmes and encouraging staff to develop innovative approaches to activities such as student recruitment and retention.

·       Attend department and programme meetings in order to contribute to the decision-making process and to develop productive working relationships within and across teams.

Miscellaneous duties

·       Other administrative duties/projects as assigned by Reporting Officer.

·       Participate in the school’s events, marketing campaigns and projects.

Requirements

·       Doctorate in any Business discipline

·       At least a pass at GCE ‘O’ level or its equivalent in the language medium of the programme/module.

·        5-7 years of experience with teaching experience preferred.

·       Experience or knowledge of module and/or programme leadership, development, and administration within a higher education environment.

·       Experience in teaching various business disciplines but not limited to Consumer Behaviour, International Marketing, Social Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Services Marketing, Marketing Research, Digital and Social Media Marketing, Advertising,  as well as Brand Management.

·       Evidence of engagement in professional practice and the ability to design, deliver and assess a range of modules in and related to specialist areas of professional practice.

·       Professional certification such as Google certification will be an added advantage.

·       Teaching qualifications, e.g. Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA), Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) and Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (DACE) will be an added advantage.

·       Experience in new programme development and managing university programmes (UK /Australia/New Zealand).

·       Enthusiasm in working in an interdisciplinary context.

·       Evidence of commitment to continuing professional development.

·       Experience in working with digital technology including an interest in emerging technology and techniques and maintaining an active interest in related developments within the sector.

·       Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

·       Good people skills and ability to handle difficult situations, lead and motivate people.

·       Ability to work as part of a wider team involving senior managers.

·       Forward and outlooking approach to the profession.

·       An understanding of the changing landscape within the education sector nationally and internationally.

·       Willing to work shift hours (e.g. evenings and/or weekends).
