Production Supervisor (Tuas, up to $6000)

Duties and Responsibilities
· Actively participate and sustain high level of Lean Management.
· Plans and leads the activities in the production workshop.
· Risk Management, Incident Investigation & Preventive measures.
· Assists supervisor in monitoring and resolving matters related to production operations.
· Manages work order priorities and manpower schedules according to requirements and timelines.
· Ensures department Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost output goals met.
· Provides training, motivation, guidance and communication to team members to develop competent, disciplined, safe and quality conscious team.
· Co-ordinates with maintenance and upgrade of machine tools to meet organizational objectives.
· Co-ordinates with internal stakeholders to optimize manufacturing process and queue times.
· Initiate improvement plans and cost savings.
· Responsible for record-keeping and for team member performance appraisals and work goal meetings.
· Leads with limited autonomy after establishment of overall direction with immediate supervisor.
· Establishes employee objectives and carry out disciplinary action and reward as required.
· Assist in driving the team to meet on time delivery.
· Resolve routine queries and problems independently.
· Review employee timeclock hours.
Requirements
· Diploma or NITEC in related field.
· 5 years of Production Supervisor experience in MNC environment
· Leadership experience is compulsory
· Experience in Lean manufacturing and problem solving skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
· Good knowledge in workplace safety procedures
· Five to seven years of experience in Production or Manufacturing environment
· Strong PC skill in Microsoft office applications.
· Experience in lead/supervisory role is preferred
· SAP experience in preferred

Key Responsibilities
Technical Daily Routine
· Arrange, coordinate, and perform goods delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning (T&C) at customer sites via working together with the FSE Team Lead and Service Coordinators.
· Prepare all after-sales service documents, including repair, calibration, and troubleshooting quotations, warranty certificates, and Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) contracts.
· Respond promptly to customer breakdown calls or technical complaints via phone support or onsite visits.
· Conduct thorough analysis, evaluation, and inspection of issues to determine accurate solutions that meet customer requirements.
· Update and communicate all breakdown, warranty, or repair-related information to the service portal for escalation purpose.
· Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System [CMMS] to carry our all-repair task and provide customers with checklist and service reports in digital format.
· Plan and manage travel arrangements efficiently, including outstation trips when required.
Sales-Related Responsibilities
· Propose and prepare PPM contracts and recommend repair solutions that support the overall service revenue.
· Identify and pursue technical sales opportunities to achieve the assigned annual technical sales target.
Other Responsibilities
· Assist in conducting product application training for customers when required.
· Coordinate and support basic product demonstrations for customers.
· Assist in trade events, exhibitions, and screening programs as part of brand and product promotion activities.
· Take responsibility for credit collection related to service jobs and PPM contracts.
Requirements
· Diploma degree or Higher (With majors in Biomedical engineering or Electrical engineering preferred)
· 1 - 3 years of experience in technical repair, service engineering, or related fields.
· Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
· Positive and Cooperative attitude.
· Willing to learn attitude.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in hardware troubleshooting.
· Extensive Traveling within Singapore is required.
· Driving license (class 3) is highly desirable
