Job Purpose:
The Senior Technical Engineer / Technical Engineer is responsible for performing inspections, diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance for major Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) equipment and systems. The role focuses primarily on heavy lifting equipment, specifically mobile and crawler cranes, ensuring maximum machinery uptime, operational reliability, structural integrity, and strict regulatory safety compliance.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform inspection, servicing, and preventive maintenance for cranes and heavy equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Conduct diagnostics, root-cause fault analysis, and compile technical reports.
  • Read and interpret complex electrical/hydraulic/mechanical schematic diagrams.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with statutory regulations and Ministry of Manpower (MOM) safety standards.
  • Provide technical support and attend overseas assignments when required.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as required to support the overall business objectives.
Qualifications:
  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related disciplines.
Experience/ Proficiency:
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in heavy equipment, cranes, or related engineering industries (Minimum 5 years required for Senior position).
  • Hands-on experience with mobile cranes and/or crawler cranes is highly preferred. Strong technical knowledge in mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematic diagrams.
  • Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence.
  • Willingness to travel overseas when required.

The purpose of the role is to

The Small Business Clients segment in SME Banking within Standard Chartered Bank aims to provide companies with turnover of up to US$25 mil in Singapore a suite of product that meets their financing requirements. As a Business Development Manager, in addition to providing team support to your counterparts, you will be expected to actively acquire New-to-Bank (NTB) relationships and cross-sell the entire suite of SME Banking products to meet and exceed quarterly sales targets as stipulated in the “Quarterly Scorecard” as well as ensure that the NTBs acquired by yourself consistently comment on how amazing your service is.
