Responsibilities:

  • Operate, monitor, and control plant equipment and systems to ensure safe and efficient production.
  • Apply chemical plant operation knowledge to follow documented procedures (e.g. Standard operating procedure-SOP, EHS regulations, risk assessment).
  • Carry out minor troubleshooting and have good knowledge to safely prepare equipment for maintenance
  • Capable to recognize unsafe plant condition and promptly report any near miss / deviations / incidents to his supervisor.
  • To demonstrate strong ownership, team spirit, challenge and sincerity.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Nitec in Chemical engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years work experience in a chemical processing environment.
  • Experience in polymerization and/or extrusion is advantageous.
  • Possess basic Knowledge of chemical processing with working knowledge of ISO14001, ISO9001/IATF16949, ISO 45001, SS651.
  • Able to work shift in a fast-paced environment

This role requires someone who has strong experience in Kubernetes Platform.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze system and application metrics to support performance optimization and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance services through testing, workflow improvements, and best practices
  • Contribute to system design, platform management, and capacity planning (experience with Broadcom VMware is an advantage)
  • Develop and maintain scalable, reliable systems through automation and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Balance rapid feature delivery with system reliability, aligned to defined service-level objectives (SLOs)
  • Proactively identify issues, performance bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimization through automation and workflow enhancements

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline

  • Proficiency in structured programming and object-oriented programming (OOP) using one or more high-level languages
  • Hands-on experience with IT infrastructure and related technologies

  • Responsible for implementing overall VM strategy and plan which include: 

  • Giving input on volunteering programmes and community outreach projects in discussion/collaboration with centres and other stakeholders 

  • Supporting the development of relevant training content as well as trainers to equip volunteers to perform their job roles

Job Requirements

  • Degree Holder in relevant qualifications. 

  • Minimum of 1-3 years’ work experience in project/event management, training and programme development (3 to 5 years of working experience - Senior) 

  • Experience in volunteer management in the social service industry is advantageous 

  • Comfortable with making presentations and public speaking
