Job Description:

The Financial Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the financial health of the organization. This position is responsible for managing financial planning, budgeting, reporting, costing, and analysis to support strategic decision-making. The Financial Controller ensures compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, monitors cash flow, and provides insights to improve financial performance.

This role collaborates closely with the Finance, Production, and Sales teams to drive financial efficiency, operational performance, risk management, and sustainable business growth.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the Finance team to strengthen analytical capabilities and operational finance functions.

  • Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting systems, processes, and data accuracy.

  • Develop and execute financial strategies to support business expansion, production scaling, and capital investment initiatives.

  • Provide financial guidance and business insights to senior leadership during strategic planning, operational growth, and new business development.

  • Partner closely with the Production and Sales teams by providing real-time financial analysis, supporting planning activities, supplier negotiations, and customer pricing strategies.

  • Translate complex financial data into clear and actionable business insights for management decision-making.

  • Ensure timely submission of statutory reports, tax filings, and regulatory compliance requirements.

  • Coordinate and manage external audits, internal audits, and stock count exercises.

  • Lead standard costing, BOM costing, product costing, and margin analysis to ensure competitive and profitable pricing strategies.

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and liquidity management.

  • Manage full-set accounting, month-end closing, and preparation of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.

  • Support ad hoc financial analysis, reporting requirements, and strategic business initiatives as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.

  • Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.

  • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably within manufacturing or production environments.

  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, costing, budgeting, taxation, and cash flow management.

  • Experience in standard costing, BOM costing, inventory control, and product margin analysis.

  • Hands-on experience in full-set accounting, audit coordination, and statutory compliance.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering skills.

  • Good leadership and team management capabilities.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems.

  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and support business operations effectively.
